Together, General Manager Michael Levesque and partner Michael Ward oversee every aspect of operations in Hawkeye’s eight luxury housing developments, from design consultations to final construction.
Levesque is an Adams native, but his construction experience spans the continent. “I cut my teeth as a builder in Aspen, Colorado,” he says. He brought that Rocky Mountain training back with him when he returned to the Berkshires, but his work ethic and personability are what impress customers the most. Those qualities are essential to Hawkeye’s ultra-personalized concierge building services, which emphasize customization and groundbreaking-to-housewarming guidance.
Mike Ward, another Berkshire native, serves as the customer liaison throughout the building process. He’s the one to call for a private walk-through of an available property, or a one-on-one conversation about the best choice of bathroom tiling, hardwood floors or quartz countertops.
Levesque’s work with Hawkeye stretches back to its first Berkshire County development, Ashmere Landings in Hinsdale. Ward joined the team in 2004, bringing a fresh perspective to the work.
Since then, the group has added seven more developments to their portfolio: Silver Maple Farms, in Dalton; The Pines at Bousquet, in Pittsfield; Lenox Woods at Kennedy Park and Lenox Landings, both in Lenox; Devon Meadow, in Lee; and The Estates at Barrington Brook and The Cottages at Barrington Brook, in Great Barrington.
The pair have over three decades of building experience between them, but they’re always looking to the future. Hawkeye uses the latest technology when outfitting homes, including hybrid water heaters and zoned heating systems that can be controlled from a cell phone. It’s an old-fashioned approach to hard work and great service, filtered through the fresh eyes of two builders eager to give clients everything they need.
